High Five Cannabis

Web Design • Wireframes • Flowcharts • User Interface • Prototyping
Project Overview
High Five Cannabis emerged as a response to Missouri's entry into medicinal and forthcoming recreational cannabis distribution. Capturing the essence of good times and positive energy, each gummy embodies a pocket-sized celebration, delivering top-notch cannabis affordably. The focus is on enjoying a fun experience in a future where communal cannabis use is customary. Their website required alignment with this vibrant message.
My Contributions
I worked in close collaboration with my creative team to build the project from the ground up. My role encompassed defining personas, creating flowcharts and wireframes, and ultimately creating final UI designs, animations, and interactive elements.
Starting with the basics. Who, what and why.
For High Five, our primary information sources were secondary research and limited market research, which guided us in shaping our user personas. These personas then served as the foundation for our decision-making throughout the design process.
Defining the flow
Moving forward, I transitioned into creating a comprehensive flowchart that outlined the web experience's structure. This phase involved close collaboration with the client to ensure alignment not only with the existing products and content but also with upcoming additions. High Five was strategically established as a recreational-focused brand, even when Missouri was limited to medical-only cannabis. This foresight aimed to position the brand as a frontrunner, ready to seize opportunities upon anticipated legalization in the upcoming year.
Wireframing
Once the structure was outlined and all aspects carefully accounted for, the creation of wireframes commenced. While the initial website launch featured limited content, including a handful of select products for testing, we diligently expanded page structures to accommodate upcoming additions. This approach ensured seamless integration and prevented any content from feeling like an afterthought or necessitating compromises in the future.
Final Design
With the site structure and wireframes serving as our foundation, the final design sprint was started. We refreshed our understanding of the brand's newly established message, focus, and ambiance, aiming to imbue the visuals with a sense of joy and positivity. Vibrant colors, textured elements, and imagery were carefully curated to resonate with the theme of good times and positive energy. This design approach was extended to printed and digital materials, ensuring a consistent and impactful brand experience across various mediums.
