Residence Inn

Web Design • UI Design • Experience Design
Project Overview
Marriott rapidly grew to encompass 30+ brands linked by the Marriott Bonvoy program. Despite this, the brand sites' foundational structure was disjointed and inefficient. Our goal was to unify functional efficiency while maintaining the unique essence of each cherished travel brand.

To start, we audited and created sitemaps tailored to each brand's personas and audience insights. A platform-flexible component system was then crafted, enabling scalable reuse of functionality and backend services while ensuring future adaptability.
My Contributions
My primary focus in this project revolved around experience design, encompassing the definition of visual style, UI elements, and the overall web design.
Defining the style guide
After our team completed the audit and component identification, I moved on to establishing a definitive source for brand guidelines, typography, button states, and more within the style guide.
Designing the components
Once the design language source was established, each component was meticulously developed to adhere to the guidelines set in the style guide.
Final layout design
Following the component design phase, I seamlessly transitioned into crafting the final landing page as well as all the subpages outlined in the sitemap.
